CityScape Global 2016 marks a massive success like the years before
8th September 2016: The 15th edition of Cityscape Global held in Dubai achieved a huge success after the becoming the platform for more than 270 exhibitors from across 30 countries across the world to announce and showcase their most promising projects.
The Cityscape Global 2016 was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai who was joined by the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Following the resounding success in the previous years, Cityscape Global 2016 kept the tradition intact after Dubai’ leading developers announced the region’s much awaiting projects in the exhibition. Emaar announced “Emaar South” in association with Dubai South, a project with 15000 homes in the new to the market residential community development Dubai South. Emaar also launched its prestigious project “The Tower” to be located at Dubai Creek Harbour.
Nakheel announced the “Palm 360” to be located in the western crescent of the Palm Jumeirah which will be a twin tower hotel and residential project featuring 12,000 Sq.ft branded penthouses with infinity pools. The Project shall include 110 room twin boutique hotel on a 500,000 Sq.ft landscaped ground. As the name suggests, Palm 360 offers spectacular views of Dubai skyline, Arabian gulf and island views. The project is expected to handover during the mid-2020. Ibn Battuta Residence is another Nakheel development that was announced during the 2016 Cityscape. The project is designed as a twin tower complex with 531 luxury apartments located next to the Ibn Battuta Mall, Jebal Ali. The anticipated delivery of the project is the last quarter of 2019.
Damac Properties having achieved success with their most bespoke Akoya Project in the previous years, announced their newest endeavor “XV Villas” at Akoya this year. The project caught much deserved attention from the investors with its new and unique concept of inverted floor plans. Offering beautiful lake and gold views and luxury living, the project also includes 30,000 Sq.ft Club house, Spa and wellness centers, shopping and dining centers, cinemas, schools & nurseries and much more. Damac also announced five new projects, all an extension of their ongoing development – The Akoya by Damac.
Dubai South launched aerotropolis and affordable living experience with their projects – The Pulse and The Villages. Casa Dora Townhouses at Dubailand was announced by Dubai Properties as their newest endeavor in the segment of affordable living. Dubai Holdings announced “Jumeirah Central” which will be developed and co funded by Dubai Holdings along with a few joint venture partners.
Vincitore Palacio is a branded residential development in Arjan district of Dubailand announced by Vincitore Real Estate Developers. The project will span across 200,000 Sq.ft of land. New Living on Water, a Dutch Developer announced deluxe, organic shaped multi storied floating homes accessible by lifts and is connected to the land by car jetty which is expected to complete in 2017. The Dubai Model has 16000 Sq,ft internal space and 520 Sq.ft outdoor space which comprises of four bedrooms, entertainment, fitness, garage facilities and much more and is priced at about AED 40 Million.
